WEMBLEY STADIUM, LONDON, UK

Wembley is the largest stadium in England, the UK and the second largest in Europe, seating up to 90,000 spectators. Opened in 2007 in North West London, it has played host to FA Cup finals, Olympic gold matches and will host the final of the Euros in 2020.

If you’ve got tickets for Wembley Stadium during the Euros, the airports most suitable are London Stansted or London Luton.

ALLIANZ ARENA, MUNICH, GERMANY

Located to the north of the city of Munich, the Allianz Arena is the home of FC Bayern Munich, and is the second largest arena in Germany. Seating up to 75,000 spectators, the stadium is well known for its full colour-changing exterior, which is used to denote which team is playing.

STADIO OLIMPICO, ROME, ITALY

The largest sports facility in Rome, the Stadio Olimpico is the home stadium of Lazio and Roma and hosts the Coppa Italia final. It also hosts other tournament finals as well as rugby, concerts and events. It seats up to 73,000 people.

OLYMPIC STADIUM, BAKU, AZERBAIJAN

The largest stadium in Baku, the Olympic Stadium was built in 2015 and hosts Azerbaijan’s national football team. It has previously hosted the 2019 UEFA Europa League Final, and will also host the quarterfinals of the Euros 2020.

If you are attending a game at the Olympic Stadium during the Euros, your closest airport is Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

KRESTOVSKY STADIUM, ST PETERSBURG, RUSSIA

Also called the Zenit Arena, the stadium is located on the western portion of Krestovsky Island and is the home of FC Zenit Saint Petersburg. Home to the final of the 2017 Confederations Cup, it offers a retractable roof and seating for up to 68,000 people.

If you have tickets for games at the Krestovsky Stadium during the Euros, your closest airport is Pulkovo Airport.

ARENA NATIONALA, BUCHAREST, ROMANIA

The national stadium of Romania, Arena Națională was built in 2011 and seats up to 55,000 spectators. It is located in the eastern section of the city of Bucharest. It will host group stages as well as one of the quarterfinal matches.

If you’re planning to attend a game at the Arena Nationala during the Euros, your closest airport is Henri Coandă International Airport.

JOHAN CRUYFF ARENA, AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS

The largest stadium in the country, the Johan Cruyff Arena holds 55,000 during sporting events, and has also hosted the likes of Coldplay, Take That, Beyoncé and AC/DC. The stadium has a retractable roof and will be hosting group stage matches and a match from the round of 16.

If you’re hoping to attend a game at the Johan Cruyff Arena during the Euros, your closest airports are Rotterdam The Hague Airport and Eindhoven Airport.

ESTADIO LA CARTUJA, SEVILLE, SPAIN

This multi-purpose stadium’s full name is Estadio La Cartuja de Sevilla but colloquially is known simply as la Catuja. Built in 1999, it has a capacity of 60,000 seats and is the sixth largest stadium in Spain. It replaces San Mames in Bilbao as the host stadium for the Euros.

If you’re planning to attend a game at the Allianz Arena during the Euros, your closest airport is Seville Airport.

PUSKAS ARENA, BUDAPEST, HUNGARY

Currently under construction, the Puskas Arena will be located in the Zuglo district of Budapest, and is set to open on the 15th of November 2019. At this point it will be able to hold 67,000 spectators and will host the Hungarian national football team.

If you’re planning to watch a Euros match at Puskas Arena your closest airport is Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport.

HAMPDEN PARK, GLASGOW, SCOTLAND

Often referred to simply as ‘Hampden’ the stadium is set in the southern part of the city, and has a capacity of 52,000. It is home to the Scottish national football team, as well as Queen’s Park F.C. and is also used for other sporting events and concerts.

If you’ve got tickets to a Euros match at Hampden Park, your nearest airport is Glasgow Airport.

PARKEN STADIUM, COPENHAGEN, DENMARK

Also known as Telia Parken, the stadium is situated in the Indre Østerbro district of Copenhagen and seats up to 35,000 people. The stadium has a retractable roof and is the home of FC Copenhagen and the Danish national football team.
